This was done for the e2-RAD project at the ELEKTA Linear Accelerator facility at Allgemeines Krankenhaus (AKH), Vienna.

TEPC experiments HIMAC,Chiba (Japan)

For the purpose of characterization measurements of a Tissue Equivalent Proportional Counter (TEPC) in high-energy proton radiation field, I went as a part of team to perform experiments at Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator (HIMAC) in National Institute of Radiological Sciences, Chiba (Japan)
This activity was also a part of EuCPAD - European Crew Personal Active Dosemeter project and Seibersdorf Laboratories is a participating partner in TEPC construction and characterization.

2014 IEEE Nuclear & Space Radiation Effects Conference (NSREC 2014) at Paris(France)

This conference featured a one day "Short Course" ending with a short exam and 3 1/2 days of Technical Sessions consisting of 8 -10 sessions of contributed papers describing the latest observations in radiation effects broadly falling under the following areas :

    Mechanisms of Radiation Effects in Electronics; Space, Atmospheric, and Terrestrial Radiation Effects, Hardness Assurance Technology and Testing
The workshop provided a forum for scientific exchange and the Industrial Exhibit provided with opportunities for interaction with commercial companies in Radiation Physics. I co-presented a poster describing some the results from e2-RAD project during the poster session.

The intensive advanced training course This course is funded by the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation and it provided a high level comprehensive overview on the present status of knowledge, future perspectives of research as well as on the open questions of the interdisciplinary, highly up-to-date field of radiation protection during 80 lectures, tutorials, experimental trainings and seminars.

Annual ARDENT Workshop at IBA, Schwarzenbruck (Germany)

The workshop was co-organised by CERN and IBA. The ARDENT Annual Workshop gathered together the ESR's, Supervisors and Partners. A poster session and progress-presentation was done by each ESR. In addition, there was training course on Quality Assurance in Radiotherapy and Diagnostics. SEGR/SEB Tests in COTS components

Dr. Michael Wind and I carried out a measurement campaign for ECI project on the 11th of February 2015 at the RADEF heavy ion facility of the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. The investigated devices are two p-channel power MosFET's: SPD04P10G from Infineon and STS3P6F6 from ST-microelectronics.The main objective of the experiments was to investigate the safe operating area of these two devices in a high LET radiation environment, i.e. in heavy ion fields having surface LETs within a range of 18.5 to 60 MeV.cm2/mg

I visited IBA Dosimetry, Schwarzenbruck for a 2-week training period in product-management under the supervision of Mr. Salih Arican, Senior Product Mangaer. The business-domain was Radiotherapy solutions and Quality Assurance activities in particular. The specific activities included: Competition analyses for Daily Quality Assurance solutions, Market assessment,Financial calculations for profitability/viability of Product for a Positioning paper.

CNES/ESA Radiation Effects Final Presentation Days

This was the sixth CNES ESA joint final presentation days in the field of EEE Component radiation effects. It covered recent final results of CNES and ESA R&D activities. I presented the results on behalf of the project group, from ECI project regarding measurement campaigns for TID and SEGR in commercial Power MosFET's (from Infineon and STM)and also presented the status and overview of REDI (Radiation Evaluation of Digital Isolators) project. It also provided a good opportunity to exchange contacts with other groups working in Radiation Hardness Assurance
